Emergency First Aid at Work

First Aid Training

Our 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work Course is for people who work in a low-risk environment, are required to be an Emergency First Aider or are required to support a Designated First Aider . The course contains online eLearning followed by half a day of face to face training.

The course will cover the following:

  • The importance of preventing cross infection

  • The need for recording incidents and actions

  • Use available equipment

  • Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency

  • Care of the unconscious casualty

  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

  • Airway blockages

  • Dealing with bleeding and shock

  • Burns and scalds

  • Injuries to bones, muscles & joints

  • Poisoning

  • Miscellaneous injuries
